You should always mix nematodes with cold or lukewarm water, not hot water. Water that is too hot can damage or even kill the nematodes. It's best to use lukewarm water of around 20°C , which is the ideal temperature for their survival and activity.
Also, be sure not to let the mixture sit for too long, as if the nematodes remain in the water for too long, they can lose their effectiveness. Mix the nematodes at the time you plan to apply them and use them within a few hours for best results. The nematodes are best applied early in the morning or late afternoon .
